Mr Tong Hong Mun
Mr. Hong Mun, M.Ed. (Harvard Graduate School of Education), is the Founder and Director of The Math Classroom, and one of the world's leading educators in Competition Mathematics.
As a former competitor with a deep expertise in the field, he has guided countless students to excel in mathematical problem solving and achieve top results in international math competitions.
Mr. Hong Mun previously served as the Team Leader and Head Coach of the United States IMSO National Team, which was ranked 7th in the world in 2019 and continue in this role in 2025 and 2026.

Ms Ong Li Jing

Ms Li Jing graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences.
As a Mathematics Teacher at The Math Classroom, she is passionate about developing students’ mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. She guides students in building strong mathematical foundations and preparing for challenging national and international mathematics competitions.
Serving as the National Coordinator and Mathematics Tutor for Team USA at the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO) in 2025 and 2026, Ms Li Jing plays a key role in coordinating team selection, training programmes, and competition preparations. She works closely with students, parents, and coaches to ensure that Team USA is well-prepared to compete on the international stage.

Ms Jenny
Ms. Jenny - M.S.Ed., is an international school Mathematics and Science educator, curriculum developer, and education leader, currently pursuing her Ed.M. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Science Education from Seoul National University of Education and has taught students across diverse cultural and educational contexts.
As Head of Mathematics and Science in an international school, Ms. Jenny has led curriculum development, instructional improvement, and enrichment programmes, working with schools, government organisations, and universities, including gifted and advanced learning programmes. She has taught gifted and learning-extension students and prepared students for mathematics and academic competitions. Her curriculum work focuses on designing inquiry and project-based learning that applies mathematics and science to authentic real-world challenges, developing students’ curiosity, scientific thinking, creativity, and confidence as independent learners.
Ms. Kim serves as a Science Tutor of the United States IMSO National Team.

Mr Tan Yu Xian
Graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Data Science and Analytics from the National University of Singapore (NUS), with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and analytical problem-solving.
Over 7 years of tutoring experience, having guided more than 100 students in Mathematics and Sciences, from strengthening fundamental concepts to tackling challenging, higher-order questions.
Former ASEAN Scholarship recipient and Mathematics Olympiad awardee, with a passion for nurturing logical reasoning, creative problem-solving, and mathematical excellence. Specialises in Mathematics and Science Olympiad preparation, helping students develop rigorous thinking skills, master advanced concepts, and approach unfamiliar problems with confidence.
